I'm actually getting to really enjoy my workouts--tho today when the heart monitor and my iPod fritzed out in the middle of a high interval, I wasn't sure I could keep going--then I saw one of my elder neighbors, with her CANE, making it up the block. I positively floated through my interval knowing I was in good company. I am feeling stronger with your support.

Re: 40 Days of My Body: Day 4

P.S. I dig my Champion sports bra, which I got on the cheap at Target. And if I'm doing something REALLY bouncy, I have a very light regular cotton bra that I wear underneath.

Re: 40 Days of My Body: Day 4

Dyana, this is so inspiring. Know that you're totally rocking it, even if it feels like you're not.

When I work out and hate it (and I pretty much always hate it), I have a mantra that helps me keep going. I stole it from somewhere, but maybe it will help you too... Pain is weakness leaving the body. (Maybe you could substitute "nausea" for pain sometimes...)

For me today: Swimming in the waters of Ivy & Ash in prep for our phone call.
